Creative Direction
RA NO TABI is not a loose concept or a single pitch. It is a developed fatherhood archive, a memoir, a life story, and a mythological comic universe — built over more than forty years, held in one continuity, and finished at sixty completed books.
The archive carries its own weight: characters with history, worlds with rules, arcs with consequence, dialogue that has been lived in, and a visual language that already exists on the page. This is source IP that has done the long, slow work most projects never begin.
The proof
RA NO TABI proves the IP.
Eugene Addison proves the creator.
Baboon Eugene Addison proves the personality.
The Asset
RA NO TABI is offered as a complete transmedia source-IP library, not merely a single comic concept. The current creator-declared archive is 60 completed books spanning more than four decades of life-story material, held under one continuity and one rights holder.
The archive is adaptation-ready source IP: characters, worlds, arcs, dialogue and visual language already exist in finished form. Professional screenplay, game and film development still applies — this material shortens the road, it does not replace the craft.

The 60-book library is story-rich and built as visual sequential storytelling with dialogue, scenes, action, character beats, environments and recurring motifs. Major series are deep enough to support multi-season development, subject to professional adaptation and commissioning.
Individual books can also be assessed as feature-film, animated-special or limited-series source material. Professional partners would still handle screenplay/teleplay adaptation, budgeting, casting, scheduling, financing, the animation or game pipeline and distribution.

True-Life Heart
RA NO TABI is autobiographically inspired. It transforms lived experience through fiction, myth and visual storytelling — the years, the distance, the failures and the returns are reshaped into a mythology rather than reported as a diary. Its emotional centre is fatherhood and long separation.
“Dedicated to Deeba, my Night Sun, and BooBoo, my Sun. Daddy loves you.”
Creator
Eugene Addison is the creator, writer, archive keeper and rights controller behind RA NO TABI, based in Cape Town, South Africa. He works under the creative name Re (pronounced ray). Thoth Archives is the imprint.

AI-assisted tools have been used under his direction in parts of visual production, editing, remastering, design, formatting and workflow acceleration.
